03/23/11. 8:00 p.m. Westmont High School "TA" performed at Westmont High School's Battle of the Bands tonight as their exhibition band. We want to congratulate all the bands and singers that competed. They all put on a professional show. The Lighting and Sound Crews were Excellent. The Master of Ceremony, Jack Donovon and Monier Walker were terrific on stage. Both kept the show moving at a comfortable pace. "TA" loved the trivia questions between band set ups. The band that took 1st place, "I'LL FIND OUT FOR YOU". Excellent Band! They really work well together. In 2nd place was a solo singer, AARON WEISS. Truely a Class Act. Great songs. The opening non competing band were two former teachers from Jeff, Jimi and Arthur's Jr. High School. Mr. Bolden and Mr. Sherry. Their band is called, "STREETS OF GOLD". Really perform terrific together. It was great that Jeff was on his college spring break and was able to make the show. Jeff was as usual, Right On! Larissa Barnat joined us on the Bongos. She is so good. Larissa found new fans for "TOMORROW'S ALLIANCE". After the show some of the guys in the audience wanted to meet her. Jake Crowl was excellent on the drums. Jake is one of those musicians that is just professional. He started out playing Bongos for "TA". We are lucky that Jake joined "TOMORROW'S ALLIANCE". Arthur was sick but did the show anyway. Arthur's voice was out. The show must goes on and Arthur did just fine. We want to thank Erica for her home made remedy. Erica Ramos sung with "TA" from 2007 to 2009. She is wonderful. Arthur felt better after drinking her throat remedy made with honey and other little secrets. All Legal! Jimi carried the songs and he did great. Jimi was under the weather as well. It was good seing some of our current and past guest performers competing in other bands and doing a fantastic job. David Barnes played the Bass for "SPY". Excellent Band. I mean great entertainers! David Barnes is excellent. John Monroe and Austin Gorman performed as a two man band called, "STRANGERS TO STARDOM". Great sound guys! We knew John Monroe could sing and play guitar. That is a fact. On the other hand "TA" has been asking Austin Gorman to sing and play guitar with "TA" FOR AT LEAST TWO YEARS. Unfortunately he refused. We knew he could do it. Excellent voice and rocking guitar. Oh Well. The other terrific band that performed was "AKA PROJECT". They were so good! Love the way they all worked together on stage. Great covers and original music. Beautiful sound. "TA" was honored to perform and to be associated with cool people. We had a great time and look forward to next years event.

They both put on a rocking show. They WOWED the crowd. The entire Reavis staff was so professional. Every year they hit a home run. The Reavis High School crew made sure all the bands were comfortable at their school. The crew members even moved the equipment off the stage for each and every band. They kept all the acts on moving and on time. The sound people were awesome. They were very considerate of every bands sound needs. The lighting people made the stage look fantastic. So professional. It was a fun night. We met some old friends we have not seen for a year. It's good to see old friends. We made new friends this night with some fun people. This night we had our newest guest performer, Lucy Welsh on drums. Lucy is a great drummer. She made us sound terrific. We loved her stage presence. She looked great. She is excellent. We are pleased that Larissa is looking forward to singing with "TA" in 2011. David Barnes was right on as usual. We love David. Thank you Lucy, Larissa, and David. You guys are great. Thank you Reavis High School for allowing "TA" to perform on your stage. It's been a highlight of "TOMORROW'S ALLIANCE" performances for the last three years. We love Reavis High School. The bands that performed were "crown me king", i the jury, the curvs, remorse is for the dead, shepherd and the flock, and "TA". All are awesome musicians. It was nice to have Erica on stage with us again. The last time Erica performed with "TA" was 2009. Erica sung a "TA" song with us and did a solo cover tune. Erica did an excellent job as usual. She sounded and looked beautiful. We sung our first cover song other than Christmas songs we performed in December 2010. We sung "CHICAGO IS MY KIND OF TOWN". It was a good night.
